Communicates with the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATC) when duties require access to the movement area (taxiways & runway) and operates vehicles and equipment in a safe manner. Conducts daily and periodic self-inspections of the airfield to ensure compliance with FAA regulations. Performs day-to-day activities outlined in the airports Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention and Countermeasure Control Plan (SPCC) to include quarterly and periodic inspections. Respond to operational and aircraft incidents and emergencies on a 24 hour basis. Remains current in all required training to include but not limited to; AAAE Airport Operations, WHMP, SWPPP, SPCC, AEP and SICP. Monitors and enters Notice to Airman (NOTAMS) as needed.
