The Role: Carbon Capture (CCUS) Cost Estimation Engineer
The Location: Houston
The Team: In this ever-changing environment, the Cost & Supply Chain team play a vital role in major projects decision making. Based across the globe with over 20 years of industry expertise and considered industry standard for cost trends and forecasts. Covering supply chain and cost in Upstream, Downstream and renewables.
The Impact: We are looking for someone who can help facilitate the technical aspect of building a cost estimation tool for Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS). A detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a firm grasp of the technology involved will be successful in this position. The ability to collaborate with others is also essential as the candidate would work closely with a data scientist to develop the deliverable.

Design, build, and deliver technical specifications necessary for building a CCUS cost estimation tool
Update and maintain existing technical specifications
Develop class 3 estimations in CCUS process
Collect costs and technical data
Collaborate with stakeholders to determine and address data and reporting needs
Facilitate delivery of ad hoc analysis and data requests
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or industry-related fields is required; graduate degree is a plus
Minimum of 2-3 years related experience either in cost estimation for the oil and gas industry or specifically on CCUS projects. Consulting experience is valuable if related to CCUS or CAPEX cost estimation
Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI
Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills with a mastery of the English language
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
