Job Title: Sr. Land Agent Location: CO Compensation: DOE
Vanguard Real Estate Solutions is seeking to hire a Land Agent. The primary bulk of what we do is negotiating right of way and access for many different projects. Projects could be working with landowners to put up a solar farm or expanding a road. Our primary focus in on renewable energy making the world a cleaner place to live.
Lease Negotiation: Work with landowners to negotiate a win win solution to placing a renewable project on their property.
Time management: You will be coordinating with the project manager as well as landowners to complete the project on time.
People management: You will be working on a project with a wide variety of people. Good people skills are a must.
Self Sufficient: You will not know everything. That being said, you will need to be comfortable trying to figure somethings out while also having the humility to ask for help when you can’t find the answers.
Organized: Not only do you need to keep your work organized you need to help facilitate work between different parties on the project.
Personable: We are in the people business. You need to be great at working with others.
Tested: Demonstrate to us that you can handle what is being asked. Have you held this position before and can provide great references?
Surface Acquisitions: At least 5 years surface acquisitions experience. Renewables preferred.
