PURPOSE OF POSITION To maintain and construct overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Journeyman Lineman is required to possess or be able to complete the following: Line work processes involving safety, first aid, tools, and equipment nomenclature, care and use. Work on low voltage energized lines, involving setting single phase and multiphase meters, erection of poles, and use of power equipment, including hydraulic equipment.
