(the "Company") is seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, experienced Land Administrator/Division Order Analyst/Owner Relations person with the proven ability to positively impact our company's bottom line. The successful candidate will work in the Land Department performing various administrative and land tasks. The individual will work closely with other Land Department staff and Accounting Department staff to ensure that the Company's responsibilities to royalty owners are met and to compile and maintain lease files and lease databases on leasing projects. The individual will need excellent communication skills to interact with royalty and working interest owners as well as other members of the Company's Land, Accounting, and Technical Departments. The Land Administrator/Division Order Analyst/Owner Relations person is responsible for maintaining the Company's land records in an organized manner, verifying owner's information (address, TIN, email, etc.) in our systems, mailing change of address forms, and working with the Accounting Department to create new owners and process address changes, division of interest, and transfer order changes.
Set up division of interest decks for new wells, review and update division of interest decks.
Update ownership changes in our accounting software (WolfePak).
Prepare and circulate division and transfer orders.
Track payment due dates and process shut-in payments when due, work with Accounting Department to get the payments made.
Interact in a professional manner when responding to telephone calls, emails and correspondence from mineral owners and working interest partners.
Utilize patience and good communication skills to ascertain the root causes of issues as they arise, obtain needed information and/or documents to resolve issues, and provide accurate resolution feedback.
Have an appropriate level of understanding of oil and gas business terminology: trusts, probate, deeds, IRS form 1099s and other related documents.
Verify addresses for undeliverable checks, communicate with Accounting Department to place owners in suspense while conducting research to locate updated addresses.
Interact with Accounting Department personnel to resolve questions related to payee setup or payment processing issues.
Resolve Taxpayer Identification Number discrepancies received from IRS B-Notices.
Assist with annual Unclaimed Property filings.
Conscientious, professional, and able to work with or without supervision. Should have ability to think outside the box and suggest innovative solutions to challenges when encountered and be able to take a lead role in any project where appropriate.

Above average computer skills and web searching abilities.

3-5 years of oil and gas experience as a Land Administrator/Division Order Analyst
Strong understanding of oil and gas lease terms
Proficient with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
Commensurate with experience
