Louisiana operator looking for an in-house Land Analyst.
Analyze and interpret various land agreements - oil and gas leases, subsurface agreements, surface use agreements, rights-of-way agreements, participation agreements, joint operating agreements, etc.
Set up and process rental payments and other contractual obligations.
At the direction of landmen, prepare Joint Operating Agreements using Forms on a Disk software.
Help facilitate signatures to agreements with working interest owners.
Set up and maintain lease schedules.
Track AFEs and cash call invoices.
Coordinate the recordation of land instruments in the appropriate parish.
Effectively communicate with royalty and working interest owners and process any changes relating to their interests.
Set up and process changes to divisions of interest decks.
Set up and maintain both physical and electronic land files.
Has an understanding of oil and gas accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and SONRIS.
WolfePak experience is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Land Analyst/Lease Analyst for an operator.
