The position requires a high degree of self-direction and motivation, excellent verbal/written communication skills, organization and prioritization skills, strong Microsoft Office and computer proficiency, and the ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Duties include:
- Work closely with the company's land personnel as well as with the land brokers in the field to achieve the business goals of the organization
- Track the status of various land efforts related to the company’s business development plans, including generating reports and distribution of information across departments
- Provide document generation, workflow and processing support to the company’s land staff, including Unitization Exhibits, Unitization Applications, JOA’s, Oil and Gas Leases, DOI’s and curative documents
- Prepare certified mailing and track receipt of and responses to all land communications including well proposals and AFE’s for partner elections
- Coordinate the recordation, workflow and processing of executed documents with the Land team, including submitting and tracking documents to various county courthouses for recordation
- Generate up to date information for all team members
- Calculate, request check and mail documents for county recording
- Assist with Oklahoma Corporation Commission filings and tracking
- Review, analyze and enter data for various land reports including title, leases and curative documents
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years E&P Oil & Gas land tech/land analyst experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong proficiency with iLandman software required
- Experience with DrillingInfo, Pangaea and other online public regulatory database systems
- Strong quantitative abilities, acute business judgment and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to apply statistical concepts to solve business challenges
- Self-motivated to manage and complete multiple, ongoing projects within time constraints
- Proven team player that exhibits a positive attitude and respect for others
