The project coordinator implements and maintains the product part obsolescence process and follow up all downstream parties to ensure the process is followed. This includes performing where used studies, submitting project requests, identifying component replacements, estimating project durations, and coordinating/tracking last time buy. The project coordinator also assists Doc Control team with purchasing shopping cart creation.
This role reports to the Team Lead, Mechanical and is located in Mequon, WI.
What you will do
Perform obsolete part process

Expedite all the deliveries for materials, equipment, and services
Following up with cross functional open action items from Team meetings related to material procurement
Work with the daily updated listing of Purchase Orders
Submit material purchase requests/shopping carts as needed
Ensure all aspects of the delivery and scope of items is covered and included
Track parts to final destination
Good Receipts part
Track purchase requisitions for capital items
Ensure there is a logistics plan that will deliver to meet the required Production Schedule
Consult with vendors and other references to track the deliveries
Maintain files and records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries
Work closely with the Supply Chain and Operations team to ensure manufacturing deadlines are met
Ensure a safe workplace through use of 5S standards
Understand and adhere to all safety procedures of workplace
Other duties as required
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience with SAP would be an asset
Strong stakeholder relationship management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups
Supply Chain experience would be an asset
Experience in the use of the MS Office suite; excel and word
Able to demonstrate organizational, time-management and decision-making skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage a fluctuating workload to meet deadlines
Able to work individually and as part of a team with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven work ethic with utmost integrity
Desire to excel and succeed
Self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement (goal -oriented)
