We are looking for an AP Digital Solution Manager for Sensia to be based in KL Malaysia.
This role will be responsible to grow Sensia digital solution business by providing technical sales support through Sensia Sales, the contributed Rockwell Oil & Gas Sales team, as well as Schlumberger sales. With the various leads and opportunities identified by the sales account team, this Business Development role requires individual having solution selling experience in Oil & Gas applications to develop technical solutions to customers, thereby supporting sales team to close the deal.
This role will require travelling within AP region, in supporting the Sales team.
Key responsibilities of the role :
Be the domain expert in Oil & Gas application, especially in Sensia Digital Solutions and Lift Control System.
Early Engagement with customers to influence specifications, participation in FEED studies and identify target projects. Defines the value proposition for the opportunity and work with Sales to establish the Win Strategy.
Equip Sensia / Rockwell Automation resources with Sales tools to expand OneSensia solution in the market, and in addition, deliver our value proposition to key customer's decision makers. The Sensia / Rockwell Automation resources includes agents, representatives and partners.
Develop sales strategy and execution plan with Sensia / Rockwell Automation sales in line with their digitalization solution for qualified opportunities.
Takes initiative in response to changing circumstances within the organisation or markets.
Provide any information relative to competition or market trends and new competitive product developments to the appropriate Sensia / Rockwell Automation Sales team.
Ensure the right level of business information exchanged within the organisation.
Update Rockwell Automation resources on skills and knowledge of Sensia solutions (technical and commercial)
Experience required for Professional Level:
Prior sales experience in a solutions/technology-based organisation
A minimum of 10 years' experience in multi-national companies of similar industry
Proven ability in appropriate competencies
Ability to acquire new business within existing customer
Ability to co-ordinate with global and in-country teams
Knowledge of Digital Solution (Avocet / OFM) and/or Lift Control application is preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering/technical/IT or business-related field.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
