A manufacturer’s representative, located west of Pittsburgh, is seeking an Instrumentation Technician / Sales Support Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the calibration, installation / start-up, repair and maintenance of instrumentation and process equipment.
  • Performs maintenance on analyzers and heat exchangers.
  • Interacts with customers and reviews specifications to provide quotes on both products and service.
  • Provides sales support and technical support to customers.
  • Ensures in-house and field service work is completed per company and industry standards.
  • Completes all documentation.
  • Approximately 25% travel will be required throughout the tri-state area.

Qualifications:

  • AS or BS Degree in Technical field and a minimum of 2-5 years of related instrumentation experience within industrial markets, i.e. natural gas processing, metals, chemical/refining, and/or power generation
  • Any gas analyzer experience is preferred
  • Ability to comprehend P&ID’s, drawings and specification sheets
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Willingness to work in industrial environments and outdoor facilities
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
