Maven Royalty Partners is a premier mineral and royalty acquisition company located in Shreveport, Louisiana. Our portfolio includes assets located in the Haynesville, Permian, and Eagle Ford basins. We have an immediate need for an experienced landman.
Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing, evaluating and closing mineral and royalty acquisitions
Perform in-house title investigation, organize and analyze title documents
Prepare acquisition documents including purchase and sale agreements and mineral deeds
Review oil and gas leases, production sharing agreements, and other instruments relating to assets
Review and approve division orders, including calculating net revenue interest to confirm decimals, and work with operators to ensure assets are in pay
Track and maintain details of assets in internal company databases
Qualifications:
At least five years of experience as a landman with heavy experience in Texas, preferably with some in-house experience
Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and online collaboration and file sharing sites
Experience with GIS software preferred
Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Current AAPL member and CPL designation preferred
