Use of this job is restricted to Wells Fargo Technology. Provides technical assistance and support in identifying, evaluating, or testing automated systems and related procedures. Senior level team member responsible for business solutions, technical operations, maintenance and relationship management between Trust Systems vendors, technical support teams, and business lines for Trust systems applications including SEI/Trust 3000 and Innovest. SEI Trust 3000 is the trust and investment accounting system. It supports the system-of-record data base that that accounts for all the assets held by Wells Fargo Bank on behalf of the Trust Utility consisting of 11 Trust business lines (see Influence/Interaction below). WMTRE and WMTOG applications vendor applications owned by Innovest formerly called PetroData (PDS). Wealth Management Trust Real Estate (WMTRE) is used by Real Estate and Loan asset management for transactional information tracking and processing. Examples include rent and loan payments/delinquencies, annual review and inspections, as well as appraisals and lease terms. WMTRE is designed to easily and efficiently maintain real estate, loan/liability and lease requirements. Wealth Management Trust Oil and Gas (WMTOG) is used by Oil, Gas and Mineral asset management for asset tracking such as Division Orders, Lease Bonuses, Delayed Rentals, and Annual Reviews. Any type of Mineral Income is processed along with payment of expenses on working interest assets. WMTOG is designed to easily and efficiently maintain mineral properties and lease requirements.
Job role will include:
Provide Leadership and strategic solutions to Trust Business lines, Technology teams, SEI Vendor, Innovest Vendor and support teams for the SEI and peripheral trust applications
Act as a liaison between SEI, Innovest, other vendors, Trust Business lines, and the technical organization by conducting, planning and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems
Ability to flush out root-cause assessments, current state, prioritizes, and recommends short-term and or long-term strategic solutions
Provide subject matter expertise with the business and operations requirements
Directly assist with production support needs as necessary able to provide on-call support
Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
Applies knowledge of trust and technology industry trends to drive change and position Wells Fargo for the future
Participates in transforming strategic enterprise architecture and design principles into system requirements and specifications
Participate in industry and internal high visibility projects
Work with Compliance and Audit groups to provide research and correction of system access and procedural processes
Manage and lead the Vendor Critical, Scalability, and Production support meetings; manage/drive issues and projects discussed
Recommends and initiates systems testing
Acts as the highest-level internal consultant within technology and business groups by re-engineering and automation technical processes and tools for greater efficiencies with significant impact to the business
